Welcome to my homepage.
I am a keen birder based in Norway, taking up wildlife photography as a hobby.
My aim with these pages is to encourage others to get out into nature and discover the treasures and diversity in it.
I am constantly concerned about the welfare of our planet,
and I am sure most other people would have been too if they just get out of the city and discover the beauty there exists outside the concrete jungle.
By presenting some of my nature experiences in the form of pictures, I hope you will be joining me to go out and experience the wildlife with me.
By doing this, I hope that more people will be aware of the importance to take care of a non-renewable resource - our planet.
I am spending approximately 6 months outdoor each year, either by going out by myself,
or through my work as a field biologist where I conduct fieldwork for different research projects in different parts of the world.
Thus also contributing to science, which I think is important and also hope to do through my photos, publications, talks and nature guiding.
Work-Ethics
I put great effort and pride in presenting the pictures as close to the real world as possible.
That means that I want to give you a nature experience as close as possible to the one I experienced myself while taking the picture.
Therefore, none of the photos are manipulated (before or after taking the picture) or show animals/birds in captivity without this being informed in the picture text.
I also put great effort in giving the animals'/birds' well being first priority, much more important than getting a good pic.
Enjoy the journey through my homepages, be encouraged to save our planet!
