During late autumn 2006, I spent more than a month habituating siberian jays to human presence.
This was partly a part of a research project, and partly for photographic reasons.
At the end most of the birds were very tame and did more or less ignore us.
Most of the time was spent doing the research part of the project,
but in between I got some opportunities to do a little bit of photographing as well.
A few of the pictures taken, are now published in this gallery as a tribute to this boreal species.
